Kate earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2024 from the Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law, graduating with honors and as the valedictorian of her class. Before pursuing a legal career, Kate spent over five years as a pharmacy technician, gaining valuable experience working in both large corporate chain pharmacies and small independent retail pharmacies.
In her role as a pharmacy technician, Kate managed daily pharmacy operations and collaborated closely with pharmacists to ensure the accurate dispensing of medications, labeling, and inventory management. She also played a critical role in ensuring the pharmacy's compliance with regulatory standards and addressing any issues related to patient safety. During her time as a head technician, Kate provided training to junior technicians on proper medication handling. Additionally, Kate holds a B.A. in Accounting from the University of the Cumberlands. During law school, she further honed her skillset by serving as a teaching and research assistant, focusing on corporate law matters.
